Feta Cheese Gozleme Recipe


  • 3 cups of flour
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Enough warm water
  • 3 tablespoons of butter
  • 1/2 pound of feta cheese
  • 4-5 sprigs parsley

Add flour and salt into a large bowl, stir into the warm water little by little and knead until dough not stich handle. Cover with a damp cloth over the dough and rest it for half an hour. Wash and finely chop parsley in a separate place, and mix with the crumbled cheese. Divide the dough into 4 equal parts and open each part thin with the help of rolling pin. Apply melted butter into opened filo pastries, and allocate cheese into, then fold them in shape of square. Fry file pastries in lubricated pan with two-sided. Serve hot.
