Chocolate Parfait with Orange


  • 1 package (3 ounces) of dark chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons of cocoa
  • 2 tablespoons of hot water
  • 100 ml cream
  • 1 egg
  • Half cup of granulated sugar
  • 1 package of cream
  • Half a glass of cold milk
  • Half of grated orange peel
  • 3-4 slices of a brownie

For orange sauce

  • 1 teaspoon corn starch
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • Half of grated orange peel
  • 1 piece of orange juice

For decorating

  • Orange slices

Cut chocolate into pieces, melt in a double boiler. Stir in cocoa and water, and mix. Get the bowl containing chocolate from water bowl, and add cream. Mix until it is smooth, leave to cool. Whisk eggs and granulated sugar in a deep bowl and then add into the chocolate mixture, whisk again for 1-2 minutes. Mix the whipped cream with cold milk, and add grated orange peel. Stir in the chocolate mixture, whisk again. Drain half of the mixture into the aluminum foil laid rectangular bowl. Put small cake slices into and drain the remaining mixture. Close with stretch wrap and put to the fridge for freezing for 2 hours.  For orange sauce, mix cornstarch, granulated sugar and grated orange peel in a bowl. Add orange juice and cook by stirring until thickened. After chopping, serve with orange sauce and orange slices.
