Broccoli and Garlic Pasta

Broccoli-and-Garlic-PastaIngredients:

  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 4 1/2 cups hot cooked penne
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • parmesan cheese
  • black pepper (to taste)

Directions:

  1. In a large skillet, combine broth, basil, pepper, garlic and broccoli. Bring to a boil.
  2. Cover and cook over low heat for 3 minutes or until broccoli is tender crisp.
  3. Add hot cooked pasta and lemon juice. Toss to coat. Serve with cheese.

Time: 30 Minutes
Servings: 4
